The Expedition — Rio Negro, Brazil

One week. Untouched water.

The Full Week All-Inclusive Rio Negro Expedition — from Manaus to the remote lagoons of Barcelos and back, with every detail handled.

01 The Trip

Trophy fishing, zero stress.

Fish deep in the Brazilian Amazon on a fully guided Rio Negro expedition designed for anglers who want trophy opportunities without the logistical stress. Based around Barcelos, you’ll explore remote lagoons, hidden creeks, and untouched tributaries where aggressive peacock bass deliver explosive topwater strikes and unforgettable fights.

Your week is hosted by John from your arrival in Manaus and through your days on the water. In partnership with the experienced Black Fish Barcelos crew, you’ll enjoy professional guiding, organized operations, and comfortable accommodations aboard a well-equipped floating lodge — complete with chef-prepared meals, cold drinks, and an open bar.

Beyond the legendary peacock bass, the waters here hold aggressive wolf fish, acrobatic arapaima, powerful redtail catfish, arowana, and more — with room for topwater action, precision fly fishing, and specialized techniques for anglers of all skill levels.
