Getting There

Fly into Manaus, Brazil (MAO) — John meets you personally at the airport, handles your private transfer and hotel check-in, and travels with you on the private charter flight to Barcelos.

What’s Included

Lodging aboard the MotherShip, all meals and drinks including the open bar, transportation from Manaus, the charter flight, and five full days of guided fishing with expert local guides.

02 Itinerary

The full-service itinerary.

Nine days, door to door — met at the airport in Manaus and hosted until you’re ready to fly home.

Day 1

Arrival in Manaus

John meets you personally at the airport. Private transfer to your hotel, assistance with check-in and settling in — plus an optional city walk, dinner recommendations, and help with anything you need.

Day 2

Private Flight to Barcelos

Early pickup from your hotel and assistance with check-in for the private charter flight. Arrival in Barcelos, where Alex and the BlackFish crew welcome you aboard — boat introduction, safety briefing, and settling into your cabin, with an afternoon warm-up fishing session depending on arrival time.

Days 3–8

Fishing the Rio Negro

Five full days of world-class peacock bass fishing. Fish remote lagoons, hidden creeks, and untouched tributaries with daily guiding and support from John and the BlackFish team. All meals prepared fresh on board, cold drinks, comfortable accommodations, and Amazon sunsets every evening. John is with you through these days on the water — helping with gear, photos, communication, and ensuring you're having the time of your life.

Day 9

Return to Manaus

Morning return to Barcelos and the private flight back to Manaus. Assistance with hotel check-in and evening plans depending on your departure date — final farewell and confirmation that you're comfortable and ready for your flight home.
